Purpose

This Code of Conduct establishes the standards, responsibilities, and expected behaviour of all participants in the Cynchrony Student Partners Programme (CSP).

By accepting the Letter of Association and participating in the programme, every Student Partner agrees to follow this Code of Conduct throughout their association with Cynchrony.

  • Maintain appropriate behaviour during online meetings, webinars, events, campus activities, and community discussions.
  • Respect differences in opinions, backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
  • Act in a manner that does not intentionally damage the reputation of Cynchrony, the programme, participating institutions, or other members.

Harassment, discrimination, bullying, abusive communication, threats, personal attacks, and inappropriate behaviour are strictly prohibited.

  • Interest.
  • Skills and capability.
  • Availability.
  • Project requirements.

Where applicable, selected participants will receive separate written communication defining the role, duration, responsibilities, deliverables, supervision, documentation, and compensation terms.

Stipends, payments, and expenses

CSP membership does not automatically entitle a Student Partner to a stipend, salary, commission, reimbursement, or other monetary compensation.

Any stipend, incentive, reimbursement, or payment associated with a separately selected project, internship, campaign, or activity must be communicated and approved separately in writing.

Student Partners must not incur expenses on behalf of Cynchrony or promise reimbursement to others without prior written authorization.

Participation in other student communities, programmes, internships, or organizations is not automatically prohibited.

However, Student Partners must not misuse confidential information, Cynchrony resources, community access, institutional contacts, or programme materials for competing or unauthorized purposes.

  • Responsiveness to official communication.
  • Participation in programme activities.
  • Platform engagement where applicable.
  • Contribution to initiatives voluntarily undertaken.
